Celebrating One Year of Caring for Our Community

Tomorrow marks an important milestone for West St. Paul Medical Clinic as we celebrate our first year of serving patients and families in our community.

Over the past year, our mission has remained simple: to provide accessible, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare for individuals and families in West St. Paul and the surrounding areas. We are incredibly grateful for the trust the community has placed in our clinic since opening our doors.

A Year of Growth and Service

In just one year, our team has been honored to care for thousands of patients and support the health and well-being of our growing community.

Some highlights from our first year include:

• 2,500 new families welcomed to our clinic

• 11,000 appointments completed

• 2,500 walk-in appointments, providing accessible care when it was needed most

• 3 University of Manitoba medical students completing their clerkship training under the supervision of Dr. Ajayi, WSP Medical Director and Family Physician

• 1 nurse practitioner student placement, helping support the next generation of healthcare professionals

These milestones reflect the growing need for accessible primary care in our community and the dedication of our healthcare team.

Expanding to Better Serve Our Community

As our patient community continues to grow, we are excited to expand our services to better meet the healthcare needs of our patients.

In the coming weeks, we will be opening an on-site pharmacy, making it easier and more convenient for patients to access their medications following appointments.

We are also developing a Wellness Center focused on preventive health and lifestyle support. This initiative will include services such as weight management support, healthy lifestyle guidance, and access to an Athletic Therapist to help patients improve mobility, recovery, and overall physical health.

In addition, the clinic will be expanding with more consultation rooms, allowing more clinicians and visiting specialists to see patients and improving access to care for our community.

Our first year has been an incredible journey, and we are deeply thankful for the patients, families, and healthcare professionals who have been part of it.

As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to provide patient-centered care while building a welcoming and supportive healthcare environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
