All patients must present a valid health card during every visit. If a patient does not have health coverage or insurance, an insurance service fee may apply. Kindly keep up-to-date records of your current address and phone number. Please inform us of any changes to your personal information and house address. Also, notify Manitoba Health about such changes to provide you with a new health card with your updated information.
All new patients must book a meet-and-greet with our doctor. You will be required to fill out a new patient intake form before or during this appointment. No other medical concerns will be addressed at this visit except urgent needs. Patient acceptance is based on the doctor’s discretion.
Please know that you can only have one family doctor in our clinic. To maintain our clinic’s work ethic, we do not transfer our patients to different physicians; only ONE meet-and-greet is allowed.
Appointments can be booked in person, over the phone, or online via the website. You can also book a walk-in appointment if you are not a registered clinic patient. In the case of an emergency, visit your nearest emergency hospital or call 911.
For patients with a family doctor in our clinic, we will try to get you an appointment the same day if any urgency arises. If this is not possible, you can use our walk-in and request to see your family doctor. If this is not possible, you should visit your nearest emergency hospital.
Walk-ins are accepted during our open clinic hours. We advise that you limit a visit to ONE health issue and book follow-up visits for any additional concerns. Due to high traffic volumes, bookings for our walk-ins may close earlier than intended.
Please note that while we strive to provide the best quality care promptly, wait times are estimated and may sometimes vary due to unforeseen emergencies. We advise that you be respectful and understanding to our clinic staff as we aim to ensure patients are promptly attended to.
If you cannot attend your appointment, please give as much notice as possible about 24 hours before. A fee may be incurred if you do not show up or contact us within the stipulated time frame.
Additional fees may be required for medical services not covered under Manitoba Health. These include missed appointments, health forms, sick notes, and school and employment forms. Please visit our Insured vs Non-Insured Services page for more information or contact us with any questions.
Your doctor will discuss your test results when they are all received. Depending on the tests requested, some results can take longer to receive, and there may be a delay in informing you of the results. The doctor usually arranges urgent appointments for critical results.
You can always call our office to confirm whether the results have been received and to book an appropriate appointment to discuss this with your physician.
Please book an appointment with your doctor for prescription renewals. Some may be filled out through a prescription fax from your pharmacy, or a reassessment may be necessary, especially for antibiotics and analgesics.
All medical practitioners follow guidelines established by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM) in prescribing controlled substances. We DO NOT provide opioids or other controlled substances to walk-in clients.
Zero Tolerance to staff abuse, whether over the phone, in writing, online, or in person. This may be grounds for immediate termination of services.
